Frequently asked questions
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, we want to provide the best possible service and give our guests the attention they deserve. For these reasons, we require appointments for all services, whether your picking something up or would like to try on dresses, we want to be prepared.
What should I bring with me to my appointment?
Due to the intimate nature, we do not provide undergarments. We recommend you bring or wear a strapless bra, shapewear, and full coverage panties. We also suggest you bring any heirloom accessories you might like to wear on your big day, like grandma's pearls, it can be helpful to see how these accessories will coordinate with the gowns.
Who should I bring with me to my appointment?
It's important to bring with you the people whose opinions you value the most. In our experience, if you bring too many people, you can lose your voice and quickly lose sight of what's important to you. Shopping for a gown can be an overwhelming and emotional experience and we want you to have the best experience possible, we suggest you share it with the people that mean the most to you!
Can I browse through the dresses you have in the store?
When should I order my dress?
Can I take pictures during my appointment?
Absolutely! In fact, we recommend it. We understand you want to look just as beautiful in photos as you do in person, but we ask that you reserve your photos for your favorite gowns so it doesn't detract from your appointment.
What is a trunk show?
A trunk show is when a designer will send us samples from their latest collection for a limited time. Attending a trunk show is a great opportunity to try on the latest styles that we may not have available in store. Quite often, the designer will extend a discount as an incentive to purchase during the trunk show!
How do alterations work?
Unfortunately, we do not offer alterations in-house, but when you're ready to alter your gown, we'll provide a seamstress list or help you locate a bridal seamstress that is most convenient to where you work or live. Alterations are always an additional fee, we recommend you keep this in mind when planning your budget.
What size gowns can I try?
We have a wide variety of bridal sizes to try, while most are considered sample size, we do pride ourselves on being able to accommodate every bride. Our bridal samples are sized from 8-26.
How does payment work?
We require payment-in-full at the time of purchase for both speical order and off-the-rack gowns.
